Around fifty people gathered at Maggie Studio in Lower Manhattan on
Sunday, October 4th to celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn (Moon) Festival.

Ms. Selina Law shared with the guests the historic legends and the customs
of the festival.

 Ms. Kiera Skiff
captivated the audiences with a couple of operatic and musical selections.
|
Mr. Frank Liao, master painter and teacher demonstrated
Chinese brush painting and explained the essentials of this art.
|
 
Mr. Liao's beautiful "peony and bud" was completed. He received
a big round of applause.
